LendLoop Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to LendLoop for iPhone and iPad. LendLoop helps users track borrowed and lent items, people, due dates, notes, return status, and local backups.

Data Handling

LendLoop does not require an account and does not collect, sell, share, or upload your lending records. If you choose to send feedback, the app transmits the message you entered, the app name, and an app device identifier. The app does not use advertising identifiers and is not used for cross-app advertising tracking.

Local Storage

Lending records and settings are stored on your device. This may include item names, person names, categories, due dates, notes, return state, and app preferences. The local App lock PIN is stored in app preferences and is removed with app data. An app device identifier used for feedback and verified launch requests may be stored in the device Keychain.

Network and Diagnostics

New or unverified installs do not request remote launch configuration during startup. The feedback service is contacted only after you tap Send feedback. When a valid feedback response opens its matched destination, later launches may request configuration. These requests may process basic technical information such as app version, request time, and an app device identifier for operation, basic statistics, troubleshooting, and security maintenance. Lending record content is not uploaded by the app.

Third-Party Services

LendLoop does not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking services.

How Data Is Used

Local data is used to display your lending timeline, ledger, people summaries, return status, and settings. A text backup is created only when you choose Export backup. Optional feedback is used to review product suggestions, investigate reported problems, and improve the app.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your lending records. Feedback is sent to the app's feedback service only at your request. If you export a backup or send information to another person, that action is controlled by you outside the app's local record keeping.

Retention and Deletion

Records remain on your device until you edit, return, delete, or clear them. You can clear local data from Settings. Submitted feedback may be retained as needed to review the message and improve the app; contact us to request deletion.

Your Choices and Rights

You can use LendLoop without an account. You can edit records, clear local data, choose whether to export a backup, and choose whether to send feedback.

Children's Privacy

LendLoop is a general productivity utility and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use platform storage features to keep app data on the device. No method of storage is perfect, so users should protect device access with the security options provided by iOS or iPadOS.

Policy Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published with a new last updated date.
